    Linocut, 30x30cm (54x53cm framed)

For a long while I’ve wanted to capture the slightly exhilarating moment when a moth trap is opened. These are all early summer moths (at least in SW Scotland!).

Hand coloured linocut, 28x60cm (45x78cm framed)

This print was inspired by my daily coastal walk in South West Scotland. I love the bramble stitches in the scrubby area behind the beach.

    Reduction linocut, 31x30cm (49x49cm framed)

This print was inspired by a bird that lost its next because of an early silage cut. It was four years following this incident before I felt able to make it.

    Reduction linocut, 30x30cm (51x51cm framed)

In recent years I've noticed large flocks of Golden Plovers visiting my local shore in Galloway in the winter for the first time. On this occasion I enjoyed the patterns they made on the wet sand.
