001 - Fat-tailed Dwarf Lemur

Ceramic, 26x13x35cm

The sculpture is unique, hand-modelled and carved in black stoneware before being high-fired at 1240 °C. The technique I used to make the tail caused it to melt in the kiln and bend over the body.
